對於短版印刷，採用斑點色油墨殘墨處理，目前許多廠家長期放置，造成長期結皮粉塵，甚至氧化變質，直至報廢。實際上，我們不妨採取以下兩種方法來處理。
　　對於短版印刷，採用斑點色油墨殘墨處理，目前許多廠家長期放置，造成長期結皮粉塵，甚至氧化變質，直至報廢。實際上，我們不妨採取以下兩種方法來處理。

步殼印刷

　　首先，在編制另一批暗斑色油墨時，根據其組成和顏色相位差，與原色殘墨混合，但不能改變調色油墨的顏色相位。


　　第二，根據油墨顏色三原色原理，長期儲存各種殘留油墨(俗稱雜墨)，將其混入"黑"墨中。如果黑度不夠，可以適當地添加原色黑色油墨。這樣，黑色油墨就可以用於書籍印刷和普通塗布紙彩色印刷。


　　眾所周知，在四色印刷中，黑色版只起到"大綱"和"強調"的作用，不會影響圖案的基本顏色。但是，由於"雜墨"墨皮較多，印刷過程中會給欄位條的部分帶來斑點，而"雜墨"的黑度受到限制，這會使欄位條的部分出現灰色，因此無法用於打印黑場塊的圖案。
