White cardboard is a large quantity of solid thick paper. Once upon a time, someone planned to divide paper, cardboard, and cardboard by quantity; In the early years, in shopping malls in Shanghai, white thick paper with a weight of about 250 grams per square meter (smooth surface, high hardness after rolling, also known as thin cardboard) was called weighing paper. Actually, it's also a paper jam. The most common type of cardboard is uncolored. It is often referred to as white cardboard. If it is a color, it is called a color card by color. Also known as special paper.

White cardboard is mainly used for printing business cards, certificates, invitations, covers, calendars, and postcards.

White cardboard is named "white", so it requires a high whiteness. The whiteness of Grade A shall not be less than 93%, Grade B shall not be less than 88%, and Grade C shall not be less than 83%. If the whiteness is above 90%, it will be a bit "bright and dazzling".

White cardboard also requires high stiffness, burst resistance, and smoothness (except for white cardboard with embossed patterns). The surface of the paper should be flat, free from defects such as stripes and spots, and free from warping and deformation.

Single sheet copper paper has bright surface, uniform coating, fast ink absorption, and good printability. It is suitable for fine color printing. In order to achieve the goal of fine printing, the surface of the original paper is processed by coating method, and the surface of the original paper is rolled by a super calender. The single copper in the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong is called single powder, which is painted smooth on one side and rough on the other, but can also be printed in single color or not very fine color.

Copper coated paper is divided into two types: single copper, double copper 80 to 400gsm, and single copper 170 to 400gsm. If it is called coated paper, it usually refers to double coated paper.

Double sided coated paper is divided into single sided coated paper and double sided coated paper. According to the classification standards of the Japanese paper industry, the coating amount on each side is above 10g/m2, making it one of the most commonly used paper types in industries such as cultural publishing, advertising design, printing and binding, and industry and commerce.

There are significant differences between these two types of paper. Put them together and you can see the difference. White cardboard is sturdy and thick, with high breaking resistance. Mainly used for packaging, cards and other products. Coated paper is shiny and smooth, with fast ink absorption and bright colors. Mainly used for products such as book illustrations and paste box surfaces.

The thickness of a regular white card is different from that of coated paper. The thickness of ordinary white cardboard is generally 0.27-0.55mm, and the thickness of ordinary coated paper is 0.06-0.46mm. Generally speaking, the thickness of white cardboard is thicker than that of copper cardboard, but the thickness of special specifications of copper cardboard is thicker than that of white cardboard, so you should choose according to your own needs.
