　在印刷用紙中紙張分為捲筒紙和平版紙兩種類型。捲筒紙只有寬度標定，沒有長度設定，一般都用於是高連輪轉印刷機。平板紙有長和寬的設定，在印刷中大都採用平板紙。
　　步殼印刷中對手提紙袋印刷紙張的規格一般按類型、尺寸、重量來標定。

　　1、手提紙袋印刷紙張類型

　　在印刷用紙中紙張分為捲筒紙和平版紙兩種類型。捲筒紙只有寬度標定，沒有長度設定，一般都用於是高連輪轉印刷機。平板紙有長和寬的設定，在印刷中大都採用平板紙。
手袋的製作與紙張
　　2、手提紙袋印刷紙張尺寸

　　紙張的尺寸按國家原標準GB147-59規定，印刷書寫及繪圖用紙尺寸同，捲筒原紙寬度尺寸定為：1575mm、1092mm、880mm、787mm四種；平板原紙的尺寸為880mm×1230mm、850mm×1168mm、880mm×1092mm、787mm×1092mm、787mm×960mm及690mm×960mm六種。現在紙張生產尺寸大多採用國際標準。國家現標準GB786-87規定，採用880mm×1230mm、900mm×1280mm、1000mm×1400mm。但由於設備限制和紙張供應等多種因素，原787mm×1092mm、850mm×1168mm紙張目前仍可使用。紙張開本是對折後單面面積，相當於全張紙單面面積的多少分之一，就叫開本或幾開。如32開，則表明它的單面面積相當於是全張紙面積的1/32。紙張開本通常有標準開本和特種開本兩種。我國多年來習慣採用大小手提紙袋印刷用紙幅面，如把787mm×1092mm紙幅系列開本稱小開本，把850×1168mm紙幅系列的開本稱大開本。在印刷設計過程中，由於標準開本能節約材料，特種開本材料耗費較大，因此一般採用標準開本進行設計編排。

　　3、手提紙袋印刷紙張重量

　　紙張的重量以及定量及令重表示，通常以定量表示。定量又稱克重，是單位面積紙張的重量，單位為每平迷多少克，如每平米紙的重量是60克等，通常每平米250以下稱為紙，每平米250克以上稱為紙板。在印刷行業，表示紙張重量的單位還有令重，單位是kg（公斤）。1令重紙為500張全開紙。根據紙張的定量和幅面尺寸。
