註意印刷環境的溫度、濕度。在濕度高、溫度低的情況下，進行塑料凹版印刷時，由於溶劑揮發速度快（通常1分鐘內墨膜錶面就已乾燥），吸收墨膜周圍熱量而造成該處空氣中水蒸汽急劇冷凝，使印刷墨膜錶面形成霧氣，致使墨層失去光澤。在梅雨季節中，要特別註意控制印刷環境的溫度與濕度，保證良好的印刷效果。

　　在顏色濃度允許範圍內加入適量調墨油。

　　在印刷墨膜錶面塗一層罩光油或者調墨油。

　　增加油墨透明度，如選用高透明度的高油墨或者加入適量調墨油，利用光滑、反射力強基材的反射增加光澤。

　　防止基材錶面吸附，合理改進基材印刷面的光滑程度。

　　熒光油墨不能與大量非熒光油墨進行混合配色，否則會失去油墨熒光效果。

　　特殊顏色製作

　　金、銀墨製作：採用調墨油加入適量金粉、銀粉攪拌均勻即成，要註意選擇合適細度的金粉及銀粉，同時也要選擇適應該印刷基材的調墨油，並應在印刷時再配製，以防止該墨因放置時間過長而出現沉澱及分層。金墨也可使用銀粉、透明黃色和調墨油進行混合製作。

　　珠光油墨：珠光顏料與合適比例的高透明性油墨或調墨油混合均勻即成。油墨的遮蓋力強，很可能會喪失珠光效果。

　　夜光油墨：油墨具有吸收光能後在一定時期內再放光的效果，因而往往能在夜晚發光，故稱為夜光油墨或者磷光油墨。通常將夜光顏料分散在透明性高的調墨油中，攪拌均勻即可。
