理想的灰平衡:Y:M:C=1:1:1。

實際印刷灰平衡會因油墨、紙張、設備等因素的不同而呈現不同的比例。

具體數據可通過下述方法進行判斷

①屏幕顯示對比法。

將灰梯尺與原稿圖片一並掃描,以某一分色模式轉換成CMYK後,用軟件的吸管工具測梯尺各級網點比,通過與用戶建立的灰平衡關系對比判斷灰色是否平衡。

②視覺判斷法。

將由青、品紅和黃墨疊印的中性灰梯尺和單色黑墨印刷的中性灰梯尺拼在一起,通過視覺對比判斷灰色是否平衡,

③數字定量分析法。

用分光光度計測量三色疊印灰梯尺各級的L、a、b值,判斷依據為:a值和b值最接近於零,將測量得到的不同梯級處的灰平衡數據,同標準的不同梯級灰處的平衡數據進行比較,判斷灰色是否平衡,獲得調控數據。
