在高速運轉的畫冊印刷廠印刷機的冷卻系統的供墨和勻墨過程中,油墨在不停地碾壓、分割及摩擦作用下,溫度有所升高,不僅使用油墨的性質受到影響,而且也影響墨量的大小,使水墨平衡遭到破壞,進而影響印刷質量。當採用熱固型油墨時,問題會更嚴重。

在高速運轉的畫冊印刷廠印刷機的冷卻系統的供墨和勻墨過程中,油墨在不停地碾壓、分割及摩擦作用下,溫度有所升高,不僅使用油墨的性質受到影響,而且也影響墨量的大小,使水墨平衡遭到破壞,進而影響印刷質量。當採用熱固型油墨時,問題會更嚴重。

為了使油墨溫度不變,有的捲筒紙膠印機在輸墨裝置中增加了油墨的冷卻系統。

這個系統主要是在一些墨輥內通過循環冷水來降低墨輥溫度,從而使油墨溫度符合印刷要求,使印刷過程不受影響。勻墨部分的冷卻系統的基本特點是:冷卻輥錶面採用了導熱性良好的金屬材料,冷卻水流量和冷卻輥直徑根據機器速度而定;冷卻水溫保持恆定,且可調溫,為了防止通水管路及冷卻輥內有沉澱物而影響冷卻效果。冷卻系統設置有過濾器等。
