紙機在乾燥部之後、捲取之前常安裝壓光機,用以提高紙的平滑度、光澤度、厚度和紙頁的均勻性。薄頁紙,如電容器紙、捲煙紙和吸收性紙,如濾紙、吸墨紙、銅版原紙等大多不用壓光機。影響壓光機壓光效果的主要因素有紙頁的水分、壓光線壓壓光速度、輥子數目和硬度、輥子溫度以及紙的組成等

紙機在乾燥部之後、捲取之前常安裝壓光機,用以提高紙的平滑度、光澤度、厚度和紙頁的均勻性。薄頁紙,如電容器紙、捲煙紙和吸收性紙,如濾紙、吸墨紙、銅版原紙等大多不用壓光機。影響壓光機壓光效果的主要因素有紙頁的水分、壓光線壓壓光速度、輥子數目和硬度、輥子溫度以及紙的組成等。

(1)增加紙的水分,使纖維吸水潤脹,因而提高了柔性和塑性,故能增進壓光效果紙機乾燥部出來的紙頁含水量較低,應將紙增濕到超級壓光最適宜的含水量,然後進行壓光。

(2)增加輥間壓力,紙頁的緊度增高,厚度與透氣度下降,機械強度——裂斷長和耐折度有所提高

(3)增加壓光輥數相當於增加了紙的壓光時間,結果表現為紙的平滑度提高。另外,增加壓光輥數能使紙的緊度增加,縱向伸長。

(4)溫度略高有利於壓光,但溫度過高,則會產生不利的影響,尤其是紙中水分低的時候。

(5)細長而潤脹能力強的纖維,壓光後容易取得緊密的紙面也就是說,紙的平滑度、光澤度和緊度容易在壓光後得以提高。不管哪種纖維原料,提高紙料打漿度,壓光後紙頁的緊度、平滑度都比較高,原漿的打漿度越大,壓光後紙的平滑度也越高。
