什麽是孟塞爾顏色系統。美國畫家孟塞爾( A. H. Munsell,1858-198所創立的孟塞爾顏色系統是用顏色立體模型表示錶面色的三種基本特徵:明度、色調、飽和度。

什麽是孟塞爾顏色系統

美國畫家孟塞爾( A. H. Munsell,1858-198所創立的孟塞爾顏色系統是用顏色立體模型表示錶面色的三種基本特徵:明度、色調、飽和度。

在一個類似球體的立體模型中每一部位各代表一個特定的顏色,並給予一定的標號,各標號的顏色都用紙片製成顏色樣品卡片,按標號次序排列起來,匯編成顏色圖冊。

自1915年美國最早出版《孟塞爾顏色圖譜》以來,孟塞爾表色系統不斷在修改和完善。1943年,美國光學學會組織了幾百萬人次的重新觀察和測量,制定出了更加符合視覺上等距原則的《孟塞爾新標系統》,而且對每一張色卡都給出了相應的CE1931標準色度系統的色品坐標,兩系統可以互換,使之更趨科學實用。由於孟塞爾表色系統表色完全,編排合理,孟塞爾圖冊製作精良,便於攜帶、保存與查閱,同時具有和CE標準色度系統的換算關系,因而受到了許多用色部門的關註,是目前最常用的表色系統之一,在許多國家的顏料、油墨印刷品等用色領域作為分類和標定物體錶面色的方法。美國國家標準學會和美國材料測試協會已將其作為顏色標準,英國標準學會也用孟塞爾標號來標定顏料,中國顏色體系及日本顏色標準均是以孟塞爾色系作為參照標準的。
