淺析數字印刷的概念。數字印刷就是利用印前系統將圖文信息傳輸到數字印刷機上直接進行印刷的一種新型印刷技術。

淺析數字印刷的概念

數字印刷就是利用印前系統將圖文信息傳輸到數字印刷機上直接進行印刷的一種新型印刷技術。

形象解釋起來,數字印刷更接近於激光打印,使用的機器不再是龐然大物,堆滿整整一間車間,而是小巧如同復印機了,它不再使用油墨,而是使用墨粉。由於圖文信息通過靜電成像在光導鼓上了,因此不再需要印版,PS版更是無從循起。這些其實是它外觀上的改變,真正的改變還是計算機的介入。

數字印刷這個概念到目前為止國際上還沒有最後的標準定義,主要存在兩觀點:

一個是計算機行業的觀點,

另一個是印刷行業的觀點。

在計算機行業,平時我們可見的打印機實現打印的過程就是這樣的數字印刷,人們把將數據輸出到紙上的技術過程均稱為數字印刷,不管它是黑白的還是彩色的。

而在印刷行業,人們則把這種由數字信息代替傳統的模擬信息,直接將數字圖像信息轉移到承印物上的印刷技術叫做數字印刷。

總之,數字印刷摒棄了傳統印刷的些概念,更加依賴先進技術完成可變數據的印刷。
