書籍畫冊設計使用字體：​變體字的種類很多,特別是在電腦盛行的今天,字體不斷創新,使變體字種類越來越多,比鉛字、照相制時代不知豐富多少。變體字大致可分為書法字體、廣告字體和藝術字體等三大類是書法的發源地,有著悠久的歷史,發據新的書法字體也是傳播中華民族文化的途徑之一。

書籍畫冊設計使用字體：變體字的種類很多,特別是在電腦盛行的今天,字體不斷創新,使變體字種類越來越多,比鉛字、照相制時代不知豐富多少。變體字大致可分為書法字體、廣告字體和藝術字體等三大類是書法的發源地,有著悠久的歷史,發據新的書法字體也是傳播中華民族文化的途徑之一。

目前通用的書法字體有行楷、隸書、魏碑、古篆、草書等,這些是根據中國書法中原有的字體分類。

另一類同體、勘亭流體、瀟灑體等,是在傳統書法字體基礎上發展和變化而來的廣告字體是近年來興起的一種新字體,主要用於海報、即時廣告(POP)等。隨意、活潑、求奇、求新變化多、快是這類字體的特點,有廣告體、海報體、霹靂體、水管體、POP體等。

其中,單POP體就有好幾種變體

藝術字體是在宋體、黑體的基礎上變化而來的,比較規範,又不失活潑豐富,在書籍、報刊設計中常用於大標題、小標題、兒童讀物等醒目之處,有長宋體、大宋體、粗宋體、長美黑、大黑體、綜藝體、圓體彩雲體、琥珀體等這三類字體各有特色,一般來說,廣告字體不太適合書刊設計。

使用字體的關鍵在於結合內容做出正確的選擇。
