什麽是書籍裝幀藝術

書籍裝幀藝術
總之,書籍裝幀藝術不僅是為書籍設計一張封面,而是以書籍的整體形態為載體的多側面、多層次、多因素、立體的、動態的系統工程;
從設計講主要是指創意、製作工具、材料和工藝;從書的順序講主要是指封面、書脊、封底、環襯正文版式設計等;
全方位是在書籍生產過程中將材料和工藝、思想和藝術、外觀和內容、局部和整體等組成和諧、美觀的整體藝術。
現在,有人把書籍裝幀歸入平面設計,叫做“書籍設計”;而絕大多數人仍認為是“書籍裝幀藝術”。


書籍裝幀藝術的從屬性,與裝潢藝術從屬於商品的性質也有一定的區別。

裝幀藝術與裝潢藝術似乎相近,但為什麽不歸納到裝潢藝術範疇中去呢?因為商品的裝潢藝術雖然從屬於商品,但是它設計的是附加於商品之外的東西,不是設計產品本身,而裝幀則是精神產品不可分割的一部分,這是書籍裝幀藝術的又一特徵。
