(1)中文字體的編排

中文字體屬於方塊字,具有字體的輪廓性。而且每個字元所占空間是相同的,限制較嚴格,例如段落開頭必須空兩格,垂直文字必須從右往左等規則。這是一種非常工整的字體,因此靈活性相對較小,編排難度較大。


(2)英文字體的編排

英文字體以流線型的方式存在,靈活性很強,能夠根據版面需求靈活變化字體的形態,以便改善版面僵硬、呆板的問題,並製作出豐富生動的版面效果

(3)中英文字體的混合編排

在版面設計中,經常會遇到中英文對照的情況。中文字體的象形、會意等特徵和英文字體的簡單、圖形化特徵充分結合,展現出兩種字體的優勢。編排時應註意中文字體與英文字體的主次關系,以做到層次明確;而且還要註意字體的統一性,如果字體變化過多,容易造成版面的雜亂。
