磁記錄成像系統主要有以下幾方面的特點

①磁記錄成像數字印刷採用磁性色粉顏料可以在普通承印物上成像(多為黑白印刷)

②磁記錄成像數字印刷可實現多階調數字印刷。通過改變磁鼓錶面的磁化強度,可印刷不同深淺的階調(但變化範圍較窄)。

③磁記錄成像印刷的質量較差,其綜合質量只相當於低檔膠印的水平,適於黑白文字和線條印刷。
