它不像封面那樣光彩照人,那樣盡情地表現自己,但封底應該保持和封面的連貫性、呼應性和主從關系。封底設計不是一個顏色、打個定價而已,可以有書的介紹,封面圖案的補充等豐富的內容。書的封底具有潛在美感,封底更多時候是起著襯托作用的,它默默無聞地烘托著封面。
