英文

書版面中英文字母的筆畫有直線也有弧線,比如“a、c、d、g、k、…”,這樣就使得組成的單詞具有外形上的變化,形體上給人以一種動勢,加上直線的參與,就有“動靜結合”之感覺。排成行的英文句子排列的起伏感,動感飄逸而具有流線之美,每個單詞間的空隙空間的跳躍,讓版面生動,視覺流暢。

 

數字

在書中使用數字的頻率是很高的,在目錄、頁碼、標題的序號編排、註釋編碼,正文中等都有涉及。在涉及數字時,要根據語言文字的規範化,合理地使用阿拉伯數字和漢字數字。

漢字數字有兩套,即第一種“O、一、二、三、四、五、六、七、八、九、十”;第二種為大寫的“零、壹、貳、叄、肆、伍、陸、柒、捌、玖、拾”。因此,應該對阿拉伯數字與漢字數字的特徵、用法加以區別和認知。如數字作為詞組、慣用語、縮略語或具有修飾色彩的語句時,要用漢字數字如:一元二次方程、五顏六色。世紀、年代、月、日、時刻要用阿拉伯數字年份必須用全稱。序數詞和編號中的數字要用阿拉伯數字,如:長安街108號,第5捲,第13屆。
