​也稱“膠裝”或“簡裝”,是鉛字印刷以後近現代書籍普遍採用的一種裝幀形式。平裝就是採用普通的裝訂方法,用機器印刷而成的,以紙質軟封面為特徵,沒有其他輔助裝飾的成分,成本比較低,是書刊產生中應用最多的裝訂方法。

也稱“膠裝”或“簡裝”,是鉛字印刷以後近現代書籍普遍採用的一種裝幀形式。平裝就是採用普通的裝訂方法,用機器印刷而成的,以紙質軟封面為特徵,沒有其他輔助裝飾的成分,成本比較低,是書刊產生中應用最多的裝訂方法。

起初是釘裝,目前多用膠裝(無線膠裝和鎖線膠裝),常用於一般的書籍與雜志,大多採用齊口,也有採用勒口的。在20世紀二三十年代到五六十年代前後,很多書籍都是用鐵絲雙釘的形式。


另外“無線膠裝”是指用膠水(特製的黏合劑)將書頁固定在書脊上的裝訂方式。是一種非常廣泛的裝訂方式,多用於教材、小說等書中;“鎖線膠裝”是指用線將各頁穿在一起,然後再用膠水將各頁固定在書脊上的一種裝訂方式。其優點是固定性好,並且非常厚的書籍翻開後也可以完全呈現出書的內容。適合於較厚的詞典、長篇巨著等重點書籍。
