這是個新舊時代激勵交匯的時代。十七、十八世紀,隨著市場的擴大,以手工技術為基礎的工廠手工業不能滿足市場的需要,而英、法等國資產階級革命的勝利,為生產力的發展掃清了道路,為向機器大工業過渡創造了條件。工業革命於18世紀60年代開始於英國,首先從棉紡織業開始,至80年代因蒸汽機的發明和使用得到了進一步發展。

工業革命時代的設計圖形的風格
