這段時期是現代圖形的醞釀和初步發展時期。第一次世界大戰爆發後,工業化時代的特徵更加鮮明,藝術設計界有人提出要把機械式樣作為20世紀設計運動的目標和主張。而在“德國工業聯盟”的影響下,奧地利於1910年、瑞士於1913年、丹麥和英國於1911-1915年相繼成立了自己的“工業聯盟”,現代圖形設計由此正式發展起來

現代早期圖形設計印刷的特點

這段時期是現代圖形的醞釀和初步發展時期。第一次世界大戰爆發後,工業化時代的特徵更加鮮明,藝術設計界有人提出要把機械式樣作為20世紀設計運動的目標和主張。而在“德國工業聯盟”的影響下,奧地利於1910年、瑞士於1913年、丹麥和英國於1911-1915年相繼成立了自己的“工業聯盟”,現代圖形設計由此正式發展起來


德國的工業聯盟確定了現代設計的基本理論,為圖形設計奠定了基礎,培養了一代新人,並直接為“包豪斯”的出現奠定了理論和實踐基礎。包豪斯發展了現代設計風格,追求構成主義的圖形設計原理,在圖形中充分運用構成風格加以表現,體現強烈的現代思想意識和設計的時代性特徵。包豪斯解散後,他們的成員分散到美國等各個國家,圖形創意伴隨著現代設計在歐美各國逐漸成熟,並孕育出各自的風格
