紙張在印刷過程中會自然而然地吸收版面上傳來的水分,同時,它也會隨著空氣中相對濕度的變化而再度吸收或釋放水分。吸收與釋放水分的過程,就使紙張產生了伸長與縮短的現象在膠印中紙張的伸縮,將影響到套印的準確性。

紙張在印刷過程中會自然而然地吸收版面上傳來的水分,同時,它也會隨著空氣中相對濕度的變化而再度吸收或釋放水分。吸收與釋放水分的過程,就使紙張產生了伸長與縮短的現象在膠印中紙張的伸縮,將影響到套印的準確性。


為此,這里僅介紹兩種剋服紙張伸縮的方法。


(1)印刷前對紙張進行弔晾和調濕處理,使紙張濕度與膠印車間的濕度達到相對平衡,以減少套印過程中的變形


(2)印刷時應將版面水分經常控制在最低限度,盡量減少張對水分的吸收。經驗證明,紙張的橫向伸縮要比縱向伸縮大些,故在印刷中最好選取紙張的纖維方向作為印刷走紙方向。
