瓦楞原紙和箱紙板盡量不要露天存放,如果實在不能避免,露天存放時間不要過久,同時需要用帆布遮蓋,避免淋雨。由於瓦楞原紙和箱紙板對空氣濕度非常敏感,容易吸收或散失水分,造成荷葉邊或緊邊,從而在印刷中產生套印不準和褶皺等問題,故儲存時要選擇清潔乾燥的環境,環境相對濕度最好保持在50%~65%,溫度在15~25℃為宜。此外,瓦楞原紙和箱紙板也不能緊貼牆壁堆放。
