​自從1972年DC. Phillips等人用聚己烯基咔唑作為一種有機光導體材料以來，目前已大量應用於靜電復印、靜電照相以及靜電激光掃描製版等技術。

     有機光導體型印刷FS版

無機系光導體除氧化鋅外，多數是有公害物質，各類光導體對感光波長選擇也有限。

而有機光導體不僅公害小，製版成本低廉，而且感光體的形狀、感光波長、感光度均可自由設計。

自從1972年DC. Phillips等人用聚己烯基咔唑作為一種有機光導體材料以來，目前已大量應用於靜電復印、靜電照相以及靜電激光掃描製版等技術。

有機光導體型印刷FS版

出現了多種類型的FS版，其中以Kall公司的 Alfano版最為典型鋁版基經過錶面處理，塗上全色的有機光導體塗料。

製版通常經過下列工序；充電、照相、色粉顯影（或液體顯影劑顯影）、修正、熱定影，清除非圖文區感光層，塗護版膠等。

印版耐印力可達100萬印，可用於文字、線條、圖像網線印品的印刷。
