目前我國瓦楞紙箱的印刷方式多樣，主要有膠印、柔性版直接印刷、柔版或凹版預印刷、絲網印刷以及數字噴墨印刷方式。

其中瓦楞紙箱水墨柔版印刷以其在版材、油墨、印刷壓力、印刷效率等方面的優勢占據了紙箱印刷的主要市場。

每一種印製方式都有其優缺點和適印範圍，要根據實際情況和紙箱產品的特點進行選擇。

紙箱的膠印工藝簡單，成本低，速度快，印刷質量高，也是最成熟和應用最廣泛的印刷技術，還可進行覆膜、上光等錶面整飾工藝，

目前在高檔銷售用包裝紙箱印刷中占有相當部分比例，膠印技術不適合紙板聯動生產線，成品生產效率較低。潤版液的使用會加大原紙的水分含量，

且不易控制水墨平衡。此外膠印印刷壓力較大也使印刷幅面受限。膠印瓦楞紙箱印刷又分為膠印間接印刷和直接印刷兩種方式。
