珠光油墨可適用於多種印刷方式，但每種印刷方式由於其各自特點不同，選用的珠光油墨要求也不一樣。

對承印物的要求： 

珠光印刷可以在紙張或塑料薄膜上進行，由於珠光油墨的顯色特性和油墨特性，要求承印的紙張要質地緊密，錶面光澤度好，平滑度高，吸墨性能差。

一般選用玻璃卡紙、銅版紙、壓光白紙板，膠版紙效果稍差。對於質地疏鬆，錶面光澤度和平滑度較差，吸收性又強的凸版紙、書寫紙和新聞紙類則不宜採用。

珠光油墨可適用於多種印刷方式，但每種印刷方式由於其各自特點不同，選用的珠光油墨要求也不一樣。這些要求，主要表現為珠光顏料的粒徑大小,

珠光顏料的添加比例，以及配製好的珠光油墨的黏度要求。表4-1為各種印刷方式對顏料性能的要求。凹版印刷採用網紋輥傳遞油墨，

網紋據上網穴的深度對珠光油墨顆粒直徑大小也有一定影響，若採用30-40線/釐米的加網線數，網穴深度35-45μm較為合適。

絲網印刷本身是由通透的絲網來完成油墨轉移的，絲網本身的目數和孔徑大小決定了珠光油墨的細度。如選用200目的絲網製版，

可以滿足300-800目細度的珠光顏料顆粒的順利通過。
