印刷公司為你解釋什麽是階調長短

原版的階調長短指的是最大網點覆蓋率和最小網點覆蓋率的差值。原版階調長短的確定主要依據印刷品所能呈現的高光和暗調的網點覆蓋率以及印刷時的網點增大值。例如,印刷品暗調能呈現98%的網點覆蓋率,高光區域能再現2%的網點,暗調區域的網點增大值估計為15%則原版上最深處的網點覆蓋率為98%-15%=83%,因此,原版的階調長度為83%-2%=81%。

原版階調的長短直接影響到印刷品的質量。如果原版階調長,原版上最深處的網點覆蓋率加上印刷的網點增大值超過了印刷品暗調所能呈現的網點覆蓋率,會造成區域的網點覆蓋率都偏深,使整個畫面偏暗。如果原版階調太短,即原版上最深處的網點覆蓋率加上印刷的網點增大值未能達到印刷品所要求的網點覆蓋率,這時會通過增加墨層產生更大的網點增大值或視覺密度來強追達到,結果使整個畫面層次損失,給人種生硬的感覺。

由此可見,為了保證產品質量,印刷時必須使網點增大值處於相對穩定的狀態,對印刷壓力的調節,油墨輔助劑的使用,水墨平衡等有一定的操作規範要求,使製版在確定原版調長時,有較高的準確性和穩定性。
