什麽叫潤濕液pH值

在印刷過程中,人們非常重視潤濕液的濃度。因為在這酸性和鹼性都不很強的溶液中,所含氫離子[H+]或氫氧[OH+]離子相當微弱,甚至達到難以表達的程度,所以通常就用氫離子濃度的負對數pH來表示。

什麽叫潤濕液pH值

在印刷過程中,人們非常重視潤濕液的濃度。因為在這酸性和鹼性都不很強的溶液中,所含氫離子[H+]或氫氧[OH+]離子相當微弱,甚至達到難以表達的程度,所以通常就用氫離子濃度的負對數pH來表示。

pH值共分14個等級(0~14)。當pH=7時,該溶液呈中性。當pH>7時,該溶液呈鹼性。當pH<7時,該溶液呈酸性。且pH值越小,酸性越強,數進一位,即差10倍。比如pH4是pH5酸性的10倍;pH3是pH5酸性的100倍。故千萬不可把pH3.6輕而易舉地劃為pH4


對pH值進行嚴格而科學的控制,會給印刷質量的提高帶來很大好處。那麽,潤濕液的pH值究竟控制在什麽樣的範圍之內為最佳呢?

從理論上講,潤濕液的pH值應當控制在3.8~4.6之間是比較理想的。但是由於受印刷條件(如:印版類型的不同、版面圖文的疏密、印品墨層的薄厚、油墨和紙張的好壞以及膠印車間溫度的高低等)的影響,所以在印刷中往往需要根據實際情況改變潤濕液的pH值。

在改變其濃度的過程中,應當遵循一條原則,那就是在不影響版面空白部分穩定的前提下,盡量降低潤濕液的酸性。
