在印刷生產中,當橡皮布與印版合壓接觸時,橡皮布錶面會吸附印版錶面的一部分潤濕液,印版上的潤濕液需要及時補充,補充量掌握不好就會導致不平衡。

著水輥是直接與印版接觸並供給印版潤濕液的主要部件,它與印版的接觸狀態,直接影響印版錶面潤濕液的分佈狀態,接觸過重或過輕,都會影響潤濕液與印版的平衡。

印版錶面所需潤濕液用量的大小,與圖文面積有直接的關系交般圖文面積大,相對空白麵積就小,需要的潤濕液用量就少;反印版需要的潤濕液用量就多印刷品的墨層是有一定厚度的,印刷墨層厚度,與印版錶面的潤濕液量的多少有一定的關系。

印刷墨層厚,潤濕液需要量就多,反之則少。

一般,印刷中提高印刷墨層厚度的途徑有兩種:

一是潤濕液的用量大小不變,加大油墨量;

二是油墨量大小不變,減少潤濕液用量。一般常採用前者。
