勻墨路線短,即油墨從墨鬥到印版的時間短,下墨快。勻墨路線長,則下墨慢。一般情況下,下墨過快易出現墨色不均勻。而下墨過慢,則易出現打空後再合壓時,墨重現象。

勻墨路線短,即油墨從墨鬥到印版的時間短,下墨快。勻墨路線長,則下墨慢。一般情況下,下墨過快易出現墨色不均勻。而下墨過慢,則易出現打空後再合壓時,墨重現象。


從目前國內外技術發展趨勢看,向著墨路線短的方向發展,即減少膠輥數量,如德國海德堡最新設計的平版印刷機,著墨輥由原來的5根,減為4根。

膠輥總數由原來的27根,減為19根。瑞典桑拿公司最新設計的輸墨裝置,墨輥總數只有16根。

考慮到油墨的滾動性能,輸墨路線一般是由上向下供給印版油墨為宜,國內外單色(或多色機組式)的平版印刷機墨路方向,都遵循由上向下的原則,只有在結構不允許時,才由下向上供墨,但這種形式影響勻墨效果
