印前平面設計中,選擇美觀的字體對設計的效果能產生事半功倍的效果,但在字庫選擇上要盡量避免比較不常見的字庫,而最好採用常用字庫字體,如方正、文鼎、漢儀字庫等。

印前平面設計中,選擇美觀的字體對設計的效果能產生事半功倍的效果,但在字庫選擇上要盡量避免比較不常見的字庫,而最好採用常用字庫字體,如方正、文鼎、漢儀字庫等。

如果在設計中必須要用到某種字庫字體,這種字體在常用字庫字體中沒有,則在完成設計之前,在矢量圖處理軟件Ⅲ straton和 CorelDraw中要先將文字轉換為曲線( outline)方式,避免因輸出中心無此種字體而無法輸出的問題。如在作品中有補字文件,必須將補字文件並拷貝。

在基於矢量圖的軟件中進行文字排版時,經常需要將某些文字突出處理,當設計人員直接採用軟件提供的文本加粗選項後,屏幕將會出現“所見”和印刷“所得”不相符的問題,即在屏幕上顯示時,文字是加粗的,但印刷效果完全不一樣,屏幕顯示加粗的文字形成疊影或發糊,特別是文字字號特別小時。

針對文字需要加粗的情況,設計人員在保證版面基本不變的情況下最好選擇粗體文字。
