覆膜前為什麽要對印刷品進行敲紙？

①敲紙的目的。

提高紙張的機械強度:紙張叼口邊和側規邊經敲壓,應力增加,增強了挺度及硬度,減少壓皺提高紙張的平整度:有些紙張往兩邊或四邊向上翹起或向下扣捲而不平,經敲紙使之平整減少輸紙故障。

②敲紙的工藝操作。

左手將一疊紙的紙角捻開並折向對角按等距離移動,右手向下敲壓到紙的一半為止,再將一疊紙從橫向捻開,以側規位置距離為準壓三條摺痕,最後在拖梢邊兩側各斜敲幾條摺痕。

紙邊緣呈荷葉邊的紙張,要兩面敲紙,先正面敲打一遍,再翻過來敲打一遍;“緊邊”的紙張,先反著沿邊緣敲打一遍,再把中間打一遍,以增強中間部位的支撐力。
