黏合劑對印刷工藝覆膜質量的影響

黏合劑對印刷工藝覆膜質量的影響

黏合劑的塗布狀況是對塗層的均勻程度及塗布量而言。黏合劑在印刷品與塑料薄膜錶面要求塗布薄而均勻。由吸附理論可知,黏合劑塗層越薄,分子間距離(γ)越小。黏附力越大,塑料薄膜與印刷品的黏結強度越高,覆膜質量越好。因此,在保證不欠膠和復合牢度的前提下,膠層應盡可能地薄。

膠層的塗布量過大,黏合層太厚,產品放置一段時間後不但容易起皺,而且也影響產品的透明度,同時,黏合層太厚會使乾燥速度緩慢並使各項成本增大,如必須增加烘乾道溫度或減慢車速等。但黏合劑的塗布量也不能過小,過小則黏合力不足,產品易剝離、脫膠。

所以,應該在保持黏合劑固體含量的基礎上,針對不同的印刷品錶面確定一個最佳黏合劑塗布量。黏合劑的塗布量經驗值為3~8g/m2,膠層較厚。



一般銅版紙印刷品覆膜,塗布膠量控制在3~5g/m2的固體含量,膠層厚度約5μm;紙質較粗糙的膠版紙等印刷品覆膜,因錶面平滑度及平整度差,膠量滲透性大,因此塗布量可控制在7~8g/m2固體含量,膠層厚度約為8m。
