According to the traditional algorithm, the first step is to calculate the number of sheets per ton of this paper, which is to divide the weight by the weight of each sheet.

Because 1t=1000000g, the weight of each full sheet of paper equals the paper area x the weight of the paper used, so

Number of sheets/ton=10000 (area of 0 sheets x weight of paper used)

Then, divide the price per ton of paper by the number of sheets per ton, i.e.:

Price/piece=price/ton ÷ number of pieces/ton

For example, the price per ton of 100g/m2 coated paper with positive paper (787mmx1092mm) is 7000 yuan

Paper area=787mm × 1092mm=859404mm2≈0.86m

Number of sheets/ton=1000000 (0.86 × 100)=11628 (pieces/ton)

Namely:

Price/piece=price/ton ÷ number of pieces/ton=7000 ÷ 11628 ≈ 0.602 (yuan/piece)
