通過印刷耗材進行防偽，主要是防偽紙張和防偽油墨技術，防偽薄膜和防偽拉線的也比較普遍。

（1）以紙張為基礎的防偽技術主要有：纖維紙（在紙張製造過程中加入有色纖維絲），激光全息轉移紙（包括滿版激光全息紙和局部定位激光全息紙）。

（2）目前應用於煙包印刷的防偽油墨主要有：溫變防偽油墨（可逆變色：藍、綠黑色變無色或有色，紅色變黑色；不可逆變色：無色變黑色、紅色、藍色等）、光變防偽由墨（無色墨，在太陽光或紫外光照射下，由無色圖文顯示鮮艷的紫色、藍色、黃色等有色變色墨，在長、短波紫外光激發下產生熒光而變色）、濕變防偽油墨以及一些特殊的珠光、金砂系列油墨等

（3）防偽薄膜和防偽拉線技術。在煙包條盒和小盒的外面通常要採用熱收縮薄膜進行裹包，從防偽技術的角度而言，目前己經開發出來的各類防偽薄膜均可以應用與煙包的裹包，其技術的關鍵是防偽薄膜的裹包工藝技術與香煙包裝的過程相適應。與煙包的裹包薄膜相配合使用的是“拉線”，因此，可以在拉線上實施防偽技術，以提升煙包的綜合防傷效果，如縮微文字拉線防偽技術、熒光拉線防偽技術等，均可用於香煙包裝的防偽拉線

隨著防偽印刷和防偽包裝材料的進一步發展，相信會有更多的材料防偽技術應用於包裝的防偽，並且與其他各類防偽技術相結合。以發擇防偽技術的綜合效果。
