關於圖旁串文,也就是在圖的旁邊排正文文字,現在多稱為繞排,不同的出版物有不同的要求和習慣,可分為以下幾種情況

①疏排版面的書刊,圖旁不串文,圖居中排,圖旁通常會留有較大的空白。

②一般圖書,當插圖的寬度在版寬的2/3以內者,都應串文。當兩圖距離相近,寬度都在版寬的1/2以內者,兩圖可並列排放,以便省去串文的排版。

③密排書刊,要求圖旁能排4個字的就要求串文。


在排串文圖時還應註意以下幾個問題

①圖和正文之間的空隙應不少於正文一個字的字寬。

②如果在圖上或圖下距版邊較近處排正文的,應不少於三行正文。
