直接印花是一種直接在自色織物或在已預先染色的織物上印花，後者稱做罩印。

凹版印刷根據印花時所採用工藝的不同，可分為以下幾類：直接印花。拔染印花。


直接印花是一種直接在自色織物或在已預先染色的織物上印花，後者稱做罩印。當然印案的顏色要比預染底色深得多，


是主要的印花方式拔染印花工藝要先把織物染成單色後再進行印刷。印花色漿含有能破壞底色染料的強漂白劑，


因此用這種方法能生產藍底白圓點圖案的花布。當漂白劑與不同它發生反應的染料混合在同一色漿中時，


可進行拔染印花。拔染印花織物能通過滾筒印花和篩網印花來實現，但不能通過熱轉移印花來實現。


因為與直接印花相比，拔印織物的生產成本很高，需要準確地控制使用所需的還原劑。使用這種方式印花的織物價格檔次較高。
