書籍印刷中什麽是上封皮

上封皮也稱包封面、包封皮。除了騎馬訂以外的各種平裝書籍,訂成的書芯都需要上封皮。


上封皮可以手工操作,也可以用機器完成。機器上封皮,普遍採用的是圓盤式包本機和直線型自動包本機。


包本機在我國發展的時間不長,過去一直是手工上封面。手工上封麵包括折封面、刷膠、粘封底、包封面、刮平等幾道工序,勞動強度大、生產效率低。


上封皮的基本質量要求是:封皮不能顛倒,封皮不能錯裝、背粘貼要牢固平服,不能有空泡、拖漿或弓皺,封皮書脊字要居中不得歪斜,不能出現明顯杠線,鐵絲釘(三眼訂、縫紉訂)不露訂(線),鎖線訂漿口不超過3~5mm。
